Two days in a row, following MSE Update, I get a severe system slowdown lasting for 5-10 minutes. Checking Event Viewer shows some service is being sent a start message. Yesterday it was MpKslfa61ad92, today it was MpKsl3a8cfeb9. What are these services? Searches have revealed nothing. I don't see these sevices running, so I don't know what they're doing, except I know they're impacting my computer operation, and they're clearly tied to the MSE update.1 person got this answerI do too

That doesn't sound quite right.Sometimes malicious software will assume some random loking name of letters and numbers so you can't find it.You should use something besides/in addition to MSE since no single malicious software scanning tools seems to know about everything.Perform some scans for malicious software, then fix any remaining issues:Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:Malwarebytes (MBAM): http://malwarebytes.org/SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/They can be uninstalled later if desired.Reboot your computer and troubleshoot remaining issues.Do, or do not. Thanks Dave. I'm surprised I don't see any other complaints about the impact on performance. Maybe I'm the only one.....Seems unlikely. Maybe others just haven't tied the things together yet.
