What is XSS mount?
This may be a source of my memory problem. From Zone Alarm:mount is trying to access physical memory. The current security setting for mount does not permit this action, or ZoneAlarm Security Suite is asking you whether to allow this behavior.Your computer is safe. What should I do?If mount needs to access physical memory in order to function correctly and you trust this program, then choose allow. If you do not trust this program or the program does not need to access physical memory then deny it. If you are unsure, you can always deny access and run the program again if it is required. Why?mount may be malicious. It may be attempting to affect other programs or the security of the system. Normally, programs do not need to access physical memory. PhysicalMemoryWhat is this:C:\WINDOWS CREATOR\PC CREATOR.dll

Hi Liah of the Marsh, ·Since when do you get this prompt?·Do you remember any recent changes made on your computer? I would suggest you deny the permission if you are not sure about the action. Run online virus scan and check if any malware or virus activity found on the computer. You may run online virus scan from the below link: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm Regards:Samhrutha G S - Microsoft Support.Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.

Ah, about the prompt, well I was nosing around on the Zone Alarm event log, and checked out the OS firewall log and there was mount xss and the addressC:\WINDOWS CREATOR\PC CREATOR.dllWell the ZA Alert said HIGH and when I went to ZA info, there it was: damn scary. Since then I've come to realize that I had activated PC Recovery Disk CREATOR !! HA!So : Zone Alarm was overridden by PC Recovery, and PC Recovery was naturally allowed access to memory (which had previously been eaten up to the tune of 23 Gigs by something, scaring me, after all) and all on its way to making the disks I am now making.Of course, I didn't realize this until about 3 am.Now... whoever or whatever mount is.... perhaps, "mount a recovery"? Daavee has suggested that Zone Alarm may be (tragically) at fault and as I no longer trust it regarding viruses, I will take you up on your suggestion of onecare.Thank you again,Liah
