What is MpKslfa61ad92?
Hi. A little while ago MSE updated definitions. I noticed it took an inordinately long time, and my computer was slowed down so much it was basically unusable. When I was able, I checked the Event Veiwer ans saw that immediately after the definition update, a service was successfully sent a start message. The veiwer read "The MpKslfa61ad92 service was successfully sent a start control". I searched MS and Google, found nothing. Does anyone have any idea what this service is? Thanks. 1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi LShel42,Even I could not find any search results for the error message you have provided.Put the computer in a clean boot state and check if the issue persists.a. Putting your system in clean boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.b. Refer the following Microsoft KB article for more information on how to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in XP:How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" state?http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353Note: After troubleshooting, make sure to put the computer to start as usual as mentioned under the section 'Steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state' in the above KB article.Regards,Manasa P – Microsoft Support.
