What does Scanning and Repairing drive (C:) do?
Today electricity was cut off and my PC turned off. After power came I turned on my PC and I saw this message.. Its quickly done (using 256 Gb 840 Pro SSD) and I was able to log on. Nothing is changed..
But what does this "Scanning and Repairing drive" do exactly?
edit: bootsqm.dat is created in C: root. What is that? I think it's safe to delete it.

You need to be a bit patient. Most of us are volunteers and have our own real life. You could always Google that question if you would rather not wait.

let the system check complete, it means there was a problem with files open
chkdsk will then reboot to windows when done

I did that, I let it be done while windows starting up and thats all no problem. But this is not my question.
My question was what does this do? Does it change something? or what?

CHKDSK reads the file system journal and makes sure the files are assembled properly
NTFS is a journalling file system, the journal makes the file system more robust
