What are the types of network connected icon in VISTA? What does each icon mean?
Dear All, I am surprised about the network icon in my Vista PC which is connected to my university domain. Some times it is just the regular icon which is simply two overlapping monitors. Othertimes, it is having three big dots joined together! So, what are the types of the network connected icons in VISTA? What does each icon mean? Regards,

The network connection status indicator has four different access levels: Local & Internet - can communicate with other systems and the Internet.Local Only - can communicate with other systems but cannot connect to the Internet.Limited - cannot communicate with any system nor the Internet. No Connectivity - No cable plugged in or connected to a wireless AP (or no Layer2 connectivity). -- Eric Cross Microsoft MVP (Windows Desktop Experience) http://mvp.support.microsoft.com
