What application reads a .wer file?
I have an application that crashed and in the message is the line like: These files may be available here C:\Users\....\AppData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportArchive\.... When I look in this folder I see a single file with a .wer extension. I am not sure how to read this file. Ideas? Kevin Burton

WER = Windows Error Report (used for EventLog, f.i.). "Open with" Notepad if you want to see the content."192 GB ought to be enough for anybody." (from the miniseries "Next Generation's Jokes")

You can use this tool: AppCrashView v1.10 - View application crashes (.wer files) http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html"A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/
