What about developers?
I was talking to someone last night and I had a realization. Before I go any further I should give some credentials. I worked for decades for DEC,the second largest computercompany that has now been sold to HP. I was a Principal Engineer in Central Engineering. I don't break into computers or play games but like many of us, I do work on them.Since Windows 2000 and XP we have seen security tighten to the point that it's making our jobs tougher as well as making our jobs. There's no doubt that security is needed but the question becomes how much and is there a way to turn it off? I think MS is getting the right idea on how to make Windows more secure but I am getting the idea that ms is beggining to make our jobs tough. A certain amount of security is needed to make our jobs. We need when it is for nothing more than to test. But it's beginning to be too much. What do you think?Renee

Carey this wasn't where I wanted the post. I wasn't going to talk only about security. How about putting it back?Renee
