I second this. We want to test Windows 8.1 Enterprise preview with DirectAccess 2012. It is most unfortunate to not be able to test DirectAccess. I also checked MSDN and Microsoft Volume licensing and there is nothing available as well as the Windows Store for an update.
Please provide an update on the ETA.

As well as Windows To Go, and many other features available only on Enterprise. And, you can't obviously upgrade from 8 Enterprise.I second this. How did I forget that feature as well as we have been using WTG for a while now on the approved SSD USB based sticks with great results. I would be wonderful to test Windows 8.1 WTG as well.
Agreed - I have been looking at the Win 8.1 FAQ and the various MS Blog sites and see no mention of upgrading Win8 Enterprise to Win8.1. And at TechNet downloads, all it has is, "Windows 8.1 Preview..." No mention of Pro or Enterprise, but when you install it, it is Win8.1 Pro Preview. Why the lack of information from MS?
Please see this Springboard blog post about Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview. It states:
"Wait for the availability of the Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview ISO, which should be available in the coming weeks. Watch for an announcement on this blog when it is available."
Thanks

It's available for me on MSDN.
On MSDN is available Windows 8.1 Pro Preview only. The Windows team said when Enterprise edition is there, they are going to post about it.It's available for me on MSDN.
Hi
I get the same issue.
I did not purchase the Technet Subscription.
Microsoft should at least have everyone accessible to download via Technet Download instead of Technet Subscription download.
Let's be frank Microsoft. If you wanted to have a stable Windows 8.1 before it release.
Microsoft should at least release the Windows 8.1 preview to all.
That way you can get all the feedback from customers or beta testers.
So that Microsoft can iron out the software bugs before it release.
Seriously, everyone in this forum wanted to test the Windows 8.1 Enterprise Evaluation version so badly.
any update on availability of the enterprise version? its been a couple weeks already.
Do they really want more testers? I'm sure I could add a few to test Windows 8.1 Enterprise with DirectAccess and WTG.
This post (Rumor?) says they are giving away Windows 8.1 Enterprise on USB as WTG.

ok then its out there somewhere...
how do we get our hands on it?
will it be released?
Hi guys,
I'm not sure whether this is the Windows 8.1 Enterprise preview.
When I went to Windows 8.1 preview and select Download ISO, it gives me this link...
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/preview-iso
Is this the Pro Preview version or the Enterprise Preview version????
I'm dead confusing now.
Don't tell me that the Windows 8.1 Enterprise Evaluation will be available when Windows 8.1 RTM version is release???
