What I would like to know is will it cause problems having two switches running between two pc's and the router, and if so what would be the best why of setting up my home network to accommodate the move?
I have a home network with winXP. I have an ethernet switch attached to my internet router(ADSL). I am moving to a different room on the property. The ethernet(D-Link 5port 10/100) switch already in place has a range extender and one pc connected to it. I would like to put another ethernet switch in place of the pc and then run both pc's via the 2 switches. ie: 2 pc's connected to a switch, which is in turn connected to another switch (this switch also runs the range extender), which is then connected to the main adsl router.1 person needs an answerI do too
