Weird network problems after latest patches
Machine A - Windows 7 Pro 64-bit Machine B - Windows Vista Business 32-bit Machine A had a number of Windows Updates done yesterday. After that, Machine A has no problems connecting (web, RDP, database) to all other PCs on the LAN. But Machine A has a problem with Machine B. Machine A can ping Machine B (IP v4). Machine A can access network shares on Machine B. But Machine A cannot access the following on Machine B: a. Port 80 web b. Port 17 MOTD c. Port 13 time d. Port 3389 RDP e. SQL database on Machine B. Machine A can access all of the above on all other PCs on the same LAN. All other machines on the same LAN can access all of the above on Machine B. Machine A was working fine with Machine B just before the patches. Tried to roll back but it went on for four hours and was not successful. Will re-attempt later. It's perplexing. What could be the issue? Thanks.
