Weird Problem
Hey guys, not really a huge problem just a real nuisance, every time I boot the Beta up, once it gets past the welcome screen I encounter a black background (where it says the beta thing down the bottom) and the libraries explorer will always popup but there will be no explorer (ie the one for taskbar, desktop etc.). In order to solve this I need to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and start task manager then re run the explorer program (note pressing other buttons doesn't work ie Windows Key + R). Any suggestions?

Is this a new install or just a new problem? I had some problems, not yours though, on a new install and after a few reboots they worked them selves out. I would try using the Windows tools to check for errors, and run Windows Update do a couple of reboots. If that didn't work and it is a new install and I hadn't spent hours putting all of my programs on I would start over because it does sound like a big problem.

Since you can start your explorer manually my guess it that in the Windows boot registry the key that is supposed to be pointing to start explorer is pointing to a non existent registry key. I had a similar situation where a key was pointing to a non existent plugin key. You might try a program called Tuneup Utilities, that's how I found the missing key on my Windows 7 install. It was easy enough to fix.
