Weird Network Printing Issue...Win7 RTM
I have an Hp Laserjet p2015x that I use over the network. I can access its web interface and can ping the printer. I've downloaded and tried 2 different Vista 64 Drivers for it but still can't get it to print. The test page never prints and the dialog box pops up stating the print job was successful but nothing prints...Does anyone have any suggustions? I'm really stumped. I didn't have this problem with Vista and I'm kinda thinking it's not related to my drivers but with, perhaps, a Service such as Pml Driver HPZ12 and Net Driver HPz12?

Lots of views but no replies. Grr... This comes with a brand new OS I guess. So here's what I did to fix this:Rather than using a driver from HP, and since the printer is a network printer with a typical installation as a local printer using the IP, I was thrown for a loop when I heard that if I were to let Windows search for the network printer that itmight work. That's totally not how I got it work with Vista! Well, it did work. I didn't have to do anything. Prior to trying this, I removed all of the drivers that I had downloaded and tried to use and then I just let Windows 7 search, find and install the printer via choosing the Network Printer option. So far, it all works well. I'm able to print to all 3 trays and adjust print quality, etc..Yay!!
