Weird Getting Started menu links
I just bought a new laptop that comes with Win7HP-64bit. On Start menu, at the top is Getting Started that expands to a list like Changing UAC, Add new user, etc. However, whenever I click on one of the items, it'll take me to System32 folder. I can click on Getting Started itself and it'll open the Getting Started screen (with those same items). If now I click the items on this screens, then I'll go to the correct control panel screen. Is this behavior normal? Quite annoying having a fresh system but the links don't seem to work properly. Does this happen to all or only on OEM version or even only from certain vendor (acer, for one)? Thanks

As your laptop is new, I'd suggest one or both of the following: 1. Take it to the store where you purchased and let their techs look at it (may or may not make sense depending on retailer). 2. Contact the manufacturer's technical support and see if they have a fix. After all, as your Win 7 is OEM, they are responsible for Win tech support as well as hardware support.
