Webdisk/webdav problem in Windows 7
I am unable to use C-Panel WebDisks under Windows 7.I see a forum post over at cPanel and their consensus ( http://forums.cpanel.net/f34/webdisk-windows-7-a-137941.html ) is that the windows 7 implementation of WebDAV is broken. This is a big problem... when might it be fixed?Alan Alan MacKenzie asmac@hotmail.com

What is a C-Panel WebDisk? If WebDisk is a means to access an FTP site as though it is a mapped network drive, I can suggest as an alternative the WebDrive program. I use it myself and it's quite good.http://www.webdrive.com/-Noel

Hi Alan, Please try the following: 1) Click Start and click Computer. 2) Click Map network drive. 3) Click the link “Connect to a Web site that you can use to store your documents and pictures”, then click next 4) Click Choose a custom network location 5) Enter your WebDAV URL 6) Click next 7) Enter your user name and password when prompted. For more information, please refer to: Create a shortcut to (map) a network drive If the issue persists, please also check the following webpage: Web Disk Please Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice.
