Web site issues
100% of the time I access a web site, such as the IRS site, I can access the site but when I need to to do something within the site such as download a form, I receive a message that I have lost my internet connection. This is a new lap top, made by MSI, and I am running Windows 7 Professional and Explorer 9. I am also running the Microsoft Security Essentials. This happens on almost every web site I access. Any help would be appreciated.

Please be more detailed on the whole situation including how you connect to the internet. Without more details it is very difficult to assess the situation. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. I realized I did not provide additional information on what happens. This is the long story - so sorry. I am a nurse and access many legitimate websites. For instance I accessed the Executive Nurse website, which I could negotiate, until I clicked to fill out an application for a certification exam. I immediately received a message indicating my internet connection had been lost. I accessed the US Treasury website which I was able to do, searched for a particular tax form, and when I tried to download the form I received the same message of having lost my internet connection. This happens to me virtually 100% of the time I access a website. I can get to the site, but when I try to do something within the site, the connection is lost. It doesn't matter if I'm looking at the "official" Toyota website (I'm researching a potential new car purchase), the IRS, the American Nurse Association or the American Cancer Society. I can navigate off the home page, but if I try to be the least inter-active (build a car, download a form) I lose the connection.Linda D. Dunn
