HiPublish to the Web is a general term that means that you copy material to a spot on the web where you have an account, your connection is configure to log to this account, and your files are compatible with what can be published there. You have to browse the Web looking for the place that you want to publish to (Microsoft Live is an example). Then establish an account, and read the service’s instructions to how to log and publish material. Here you have an example of pages that explain how to publish different material to Windows Live.http://www.bing.com/search?q=how+to+publish+to+windows+live&go=&form=QBLH&qs=n&sk=If you want to share a folder on your computer in a way that people can connect to your computer through the Internet and look at the folder, it is another issue, and it more complicated than just Publishing to the Web, it also involves security issues. This page describes some of the methods that can be used for such purpose..Connecting through the Internet to a Home Computer / Network / Server - http://www.ezlan.net/myip.htmlSimple Serving - Serve Files to Family and Friends over the Internet. - http://www.ezlan.net/serving.html.Jack MVP-Networking.
