WebDAV with SSL
Hi, I'm kinda desperate. I'm trying to connect to my none windows webdav host. Every time I get the "The folder you entered does not appear to be valid." error message. I tried both authentication methods (basic, digest) and imported my ssl certificate to the trusted root certification authorities with no luck. The folder is accessible by ie8. Also everything is working fine over http. Hope anyone got an idea...

Hi, Have you tried the following command to check the result? net use <webdav-resource> Also, please kindly refer to the following article: Some Info around WebDAV content access issues - Care, Share and Grow! - Site Home - MSDN Blogs Alex ZhaoPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. The Link don't refer to my problem. You have to change the registry value if you want to use basic authentifikation for none ssl shares. And yes I tried the net use command, but the errors leads me to nothing. I gave up for now and I have to say that this feature is very badly implemented in windows. Can't connect through https (maybe because of a self signed certificate?), showing wrong disk space, wrong time/speed during a transfer and the explorer crash when aborting a transfer.
