We can log in to Lync Online only using Lync 2010 clients from certain domains

Hi all,

I was wondering if you can help with the following issue.

We migrate users to Lync Online on a global scale for a multi forest company.

In some domains I've noticed that Skype for Business and Lync 2013 can't log in the users but Lync 2010 can. We set the server address manually to sipdir.online.lync.com:443 through a group policy so this isn't the issue.

I would appreciate any help.

Be sure, that you have configured a new policy for the Lync 2013 clients, because Lync 2010 has a different policy.

Why do not configure autodiscovery for Lync clients?

Have you tried creating a lyncdiscover.yourdomain.com record and point it to webdir.online.linc.com?
