Want to use Windows Updates, not Microsoft Updates
For various reasons I prefer to not update from Microsoft Updates but Windows Updates, but when I click the link to Windows Updates in my Programs Menu, it keeps taking me to Microsoft Updates and trying to install the plug-in, (which I have not done). Even when I manually type in the URL to Windows Updates, it automatically changes the site to Microsoft Updates. Is there anyway to stop this behavior? BTW, I am using XP SP3.1 person needs an answerI do too

As far as I was aware Winupdate has been replaced by MS Update, it does the same thing excepting it has the ability to offer updates for all installed MS programs, as to whether you agree to / except the ofered updates, its still up to you. Personally I allow all Important Updates and review the optional updates.Do you have a particular problem with MSUpdate?
