Want to use SSL to access the Admin console
We installed MBAM Administation adn Monitoring server and want to use SSL for log on and for client traffic. It appears that the install defaults to using port 80? If we add a cert to the IIS7 config and block port 80 with the Windows 2008 firewall, we can log onto the admin website but client machines fail to connect. We don't want user IDs accessing the admin console sending IDs/passwords in the clear across the network. Is there a way to force the client connections to use SSL or port 443?

To clarify we installed MBAM (Microsoft Bitlocker Administration and Monitoring) and want to use SSL for all the connections ==> client agent and access to the Admin console. Does the tool only support http:port 80 requests?

Follow up. We fixed the issue by removing the Administration and Monitoring software and installing it by selecting "Encrypt traffic between the client and server". Troy
