Want To Turn Off Defender Error Message...
We have disabled the Windows Defender through Administrative/Services settings, but now are getting an error message on startup: "Application Failed To Initialize 0x800106ba..." How canwe disable this error message... ? Thanks!

Hi bitsailor, as a security related program, we strongly recommend you turn on Windows Defender. If you still want to disable it and avoid the error message, you can disable via msconfig: 1. Click Start, type msconfig in start search and press Enter. 2. Uncheck the checkbox for Windows Defender both under Services tab and Startup tab. 3. Press OK and restart the computer and check the result. Hope this helps!Sean Zhu - MSFT

Thanks so much - that worked to stop the error message... :-)We have other security program, so Defender is not needed...
