Wake on LAN in HP Compaq Elite 8300

Hello,

I  am trying to turn on my lab computers at a time with "Netsupport school" Software.

I unchecked " Turn on Fast startup"

I disabled " S5 Maximum Power Saving". ( I tried Enable/Disable both)

I changed " Change "Remote Wake up Boot source" to "Remote Server" "

I checked " Allow this device to wake the computer"

and I can't find wake on LAN option in Advance tab.

But I still not able to turn my computer on with " Netsupport school" software. I am using HP compaq Elite 8300.

Kindly do the needful.

Thank you

Your network adaptor should support Wake on LAN functionality and also check BIOS and make sure it is allow this feature (if the option is available), you should check network adaptor setting too.

Not all NIC's support the wake on lan feature, if it isn't listed in the advanced tab then likely the driver isn't up to date or the NIC is too old to support it.

EDIT: Keep in mind, the advanced tab may have something called "Wake on Magic Packet" Thats another name for wake on lan, if you see that try enabling it.
