WZCSVC not starting automatically even though it is specified to start automatically in the Services profiles.__
I have a ThinkPad R40 running Windows XP Professional Version 2002, Service Pack 3. Each time I start the PC the wireless connections are not activated. I must manually start WZCSVC even though it is specified to start automatically in the Services profiles. Until I start WZCSVC, I don't see the Wireless Networks tab in the Wireless Network Connection Properties window. Once I start WZCSVC I then see that tab and I have to manually check the "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings" box. Once that is done the wireless works fine, until the PC is turned off or hibernates and I have to do it all over again. It appears the setting for starting WZCSVC "Automatic" does not remain in the profile once the PC is shut down. As a result, since the Wireless Networks tab does not automatically appear in the Wireless Network Connection Properties window I have to manually check that box each time. Any ideas how to correct this? As I said, once I start WZCSVC and check the box, wireless works fine so it is not the network adapter, etc. Thanks6 people need an answerI do too
