Currently we are using WSUS for deploying the windows updates, and client workstations are configured to get it from the WSUS. We would like to tune the windows 7 workstations, so that it will check online automatically for windows updates in case of it not connected to company network/WSUS is not available. Please advise how I can do it, without the user click manually to check online for updates. Thanks JAZEEL

Not sure if this is possible, because of workstations poll the WSUS. This setting is by GPO. Try to ask in WSUS and GPO forum. Depending on the reason you can consider offline WSUS or play with wuauclt (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc720477(v=WS.10).aspx) Rgds Milos
