WPA2/AES encryption and Vista machine
I have a windows XP, Windows Vista, and a Windows 7 laptops. I just got Comcast Internet and a Belkin G wireless router. I am trying to set up up the network with a WPA2/AES encryption type but the Windows Vista does not want to connect it can pull a IP address but not connect to the internet it says i have local any all my Laptops are set to the same work group and I type the oasscode in correctly it is only the WIndows Vista machine that is not connect can Someone please help me

Might seem like a silly question, but do you have the most up to date wireless drivers? I've read a few posts on other boards where some wireless cards do not like WPA2/AES, and some don't play well unless their drivers get updated. You might want to get the exact information for your wireless card and do a search on that with any references to your problem. Theoretically, things like wireless should work out of the box, but that's not always the case.Brian, aka, "The Computer Handyman"
