WMS idle won't let computer shut down
I am running XP pro SP3. When I try to shut down I get the message that WMS idle is still running and I have to click end now for computer to finally shut down. What's up?1 person got this answerI do too

Does this apply to you? "Error message when you try to shut down Windows: "End Program-WMS Idle"" Else, do you have any Nero software installed, such as Nero Scout?

NERO, yes!!! Came with sony DRU-840A DVD RW. Package called "Nero 7 Essentials". Contains "Showtime", "Express", "Scout", "Vision", "Cover Designer" and "Media Home". I have looked for "Microsoft Office Communicator 2005" and don't see it anywhere. I am running Office Pro 2007 and don't see communicator as an included module nor do I think I downloaded it.

OK - yes, you would want to either update Nero (the Scout module), uninstall it, or disable the Scout feature. See if that helps...
