WLANSVC service not running on W7 Professional 64 bits
WLANSVC service is not started on system startup although it is configured as automatic.
Trying to start it manually the system responds with an error indicating
Error 3: System can not find the path specified.
I have checked hardware running another OS and it is working fine, drivers are updated and device manager shows no problems.

I finally fixed it executing "sfc /scannow" command in cmd.
There were some corrupted files preventing service startup.
