My windows 8 pro hangs when i watch online videos on browser(any browser). It happens very frequently. My only option is to restart my system. I can post any logs that would be required. This never happened in windows 7.
Before go ahead with advanced troubleshootings, I would like to draw your attention on the following \
Disable and enable the plugin and check..

I have looked for a flash plugin in the add on manager in my IE and it was not there. So i assume i don't have flash player active x installed.
When i installed 'flash player for win7' on my win8 for other browsers it went fine. But when i tried installing Flash player active x for IE 10 it said a newer version already installed. But i checked my control panel before installing and there was no flash player active x in my installed programs.
Also i re-installed my silverlight plugin as suggested and updated my graphic card.
I will post again if i find the problem repeating in a few days.
Thank you.
Hi,
Thanks for your sharing on resolving this issue.
This will benefit more customers who encounter the same issue as you.
My system got hung again while watching a youtube video. I have done everything that you have asked me to like i mentioned in my earlier reply. Please help.
Hi,
Lets first test the issue in Clean boot Mode to see if this issue can be caused by third part program or service:
How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
If the issue doesnt appear, you can determine which one can be the cause by using dichotomy in MSconfig. Checking on half of Non-Microsoft service and restart, determining which half of the services cause the issue and repeating to check half of the problematic half services.
If the issue still persists, please try the CPU-Z to see which process occupy the most CPU, also post the log here for my research. You can upload it into Skydrive or other file service, and past the link here:
