WIndows 7 incoming connectino limit
Hi I have responsibility for a small business network of about 10 PC's all running XP Pro. One has the data files for the accounts package and therfore what with shared printers etc , a few of the "client" PC's get an error message saying that it could not connect to Pc as number of connection limit reached i.e 10 open concurrent connections in XP. Simple as it may seem but does W7 still retain this connection limit or not . Have tried to find the answer but cannot.

Heres the information about Windows XP connections limit http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314882Windows 7 has a safe connection limit of 20However my advice is that you should employ a small server that can host the database and also provide for backup when you have that many clients.MCSE, MCSA, MCDST [If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message.
