Hi, Have you monitored task manager to see where the CPU and mem usage is."If you find my reply helpful please click the 'Vote As Helpful' button next to my reply"

Hi-Thanks for the response! I opened TASK MNGR and have seen the CPU usage (on the low side) I'm a bit unfamiliar in changing things...any suggestions of what to do?

Hi, Ok, well open task manager and select the processes tab, now watch for the tasks which keep using or constantly use the CPU field at 80% - 100%. Also take a look at any processes which have high Mem Usage.Note these processes back here and we can investigate what they are. When you say you have run a virus scan, which anti-virus did you use? Just that some anti-virus don't pick other malware like rootkits, spyware etc. "If you find my reply helpful please click the 'Vote As Helpful' button next to my reply"
