WINDOWS LOADING SCREEN WON'T APPEAR!!!
AHHH! My Relatively new xp pc, wich seems to always get viruses, Recently had one wich screwed up the os (and some Drivers methinks). In short after the dell screen, it Just Displays a Black Screen. Nothing comes up at all. No Scrolly Bar. Not even a BSOD!!! I am Really Requiring a Quick and Easy Fix. Also don't have windows cd and/or i386 folder. have ubcd4win. tried a reinstall using that but that didn't work. If you have a Dell supplied PC it would have been supplied with restore disks or a hidden recovery partition.A PC doesnt become infected unless the end user has failed in install Important updates, has no Firewall configured, or doesnt have an AV program (many decent ones being free) Or the end user is visiting places they shouldnt or downloading things they shouldnt
