WINDOWS 7 VS WINDOWS XP
I AM LOOKING AT PURCHASING A NEW COMPUTER, MOST ARE LISTING WINDOWS 7 W/AN UPGRADE TO WINDOWS XP FOR EXTRA $$$$. I HAVE 1 OTHER LAPTOP AND DESK TOP W/XP, WILL IT EFFECT SHARING OF DOCUMENTS BTWEEN THE XP & WINDOWS 7?1 person needs an answerI do too

I would purchase a computer running Windows 7 at this point. If you are a home user you will want Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The only thing to be aware of is whether your peripherals (printers, scanners) have drivers for that operating system. Check on the printer mftr.'s website, etc. There is no problem sharing files between Windows 7 and XP.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
