WINDOWS 7 SHUTS DOWN BY ITSELF
We purchased a Dell refurbished computer for the Church's day care. It has windows 7 and office on it. It will just shut down and turn off. What can I do to correct this? Faith

The first thing I would check are the fans in the computer and make sure they are all running and dirt free. Then I'd check the power supply and see if it's over heating. It might be slightly warm to the touch but it shouldn't be hot.

Thanks I will try that. I am not at the site so I will need to check it this evening. Dell signon and checked everything they said it was a software issue but wanted $230 to fix it. Faith

Hi, Also you can login with Safe Mode to check if the issue related with third party programs or driver issue.
