I have a 780g chipset and a radeon 4850, and the 2 monitors on the 780g keep going blank (sometimes black and white stripes)and crashing windows. meanwhile, the 2 monitors on the 4850 just keep the image frozen.i'm guessing the problem might be related to the 7xxG video drivers.

Hi Ansekk, This kind of issues can also be caused by software conflicts. In order to narrow down the root cause, please temporary disable or remove the anti-virus and firewall, then check the result. If the issue still occurs, I suggest that you follow the steps below to boot in Clean Boot Mode. 1. Click the Start Button type "msconfig" (without quotation marks) in the Start Search box, and then press Enter.Note: If prompted, please click Continue on the User Account Control (UAC) window.2. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click "Disable All" (if it is not gray). 3. Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" and click "OK".Then, restart the computer. When the "System Configuration Utility" window appears, please check the "Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when Windows starts" box and click OK.Please test this issue in the Clean Boot environment, if the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, we can use a 50/50 approach to quickly narrow down which entry is causing the issue. Hope the information helps.Arthur Xie - MSFT

Try disableing Away mode in the bios. so far, it's been a few hours and it hasn't crashed for me yet, a big improvement over the 1 to 2 crash per hour i was getting.
