When I try to get online, the screen says there is an error and can't display the page. It also says I should try to refresh the pager-this does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! When I get on safe mode, there is a "keyboard failure" that freezes my computer when I press ANY button. Someone told me I might try to empty my ARP cache, but I don't know how. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!! If you have a keyboard failure in Safe Mode, then either your computer has bad hardware or possibly is so severely infected that the machine is basically useless. This will not be possible to diagnose without looking at the machine. Take the machine to a competent computer tech (not from a BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place). You can also pull the drive and attach it to a working computer but I don't like to do this unless I know for certain the drive is virus/malware-free. If infection is suspected, you can either try to clean up the drive with a rescue CD from one of the antivirus companies or a Bart's PE plugin or you can do a clean install of Windows.
