W7 Fax Inbox & Sent items locations
In XP I set up my faxing folders as d:\mailbox\faxes\In and d:\mailbox\faxes\sent. In W7 I have opened the Fax & Scan programme, gone to Fax Settings, Advanced and entered the path d:\mailbox\faxes\in. However is there a sent items path, or is everything lumped together in just 1 folder? Moreover the faxes received prior to the installtion of W7 don't show up in the preview pane for the in box. Any guidance will be appreciated.

The location of fax files are: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax, there are all folders (inbox, sent etc.). I have no clue how to change location.

Under Tools in Windows Fax and Scan, click Fax Settings, near the bottom right, click More options, near bottom left check box, check it for Save a copy to: and pick the location when a fax is received, click on the icon with 3 dots to browse to anywhere local or network location to store received faxes. Also under Fax Settings, click the tab Advanced, see Fax Archive (Inbox/Sent Items), click the icon that says Move Folder, and move it to wherever you want.MCSE, MCSA, MCDST [If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message.
