Vpn connected but with no connectivity
I have Windows Vista Buisness 64 bit with SP2 running on my workstation. I am not using a domain just a workgroup. I have created a vpn incoming connection to share files off the workstation through the internet with specified ip addresses. I have created a network connection on my laptop which runs Windows XP. I have turned both firewalls off to eliminate complications. My laptop will connect to my workstation but cannot find the workstations computer name, shared files or ip adress when I use search or run. The laptop connection status shows that it is connected fine with correct ip address. The workstation shows that my laptop is connected but its status shows not connectivity? If anybody has any answers to this, they would be greatly appreciated.
