Technician came to my home because I had trouble connecting my laptop to the wireless connection. He said that there was NO update for this router. I a not that computer savey so a lot of what he said to me was like speaking another language.

Probably you did not configure that wireless adapter correctly, so it failed talking to wireless router. Check out this wireless network troubleshooting tips article, might give you more ideas. Hope this helps.

Hi, What is the exact error message? Please launch Internet explorer->Tools->Internet Options->under Connection tab, LAN settings->check the box before Automatically detect settings.
