Vista total connection loss
Hi pplz, So i've had vista for like two years, and until now my internet has worked perfectly fine. Just now my connection to the wireless network dropped completely. My computer is 100% up to date with updates and such. The modem/router is a linksys, but don't ask me what model it is cause i have no clue. The computer is an HP Pavilion Slimline s7700n PC wih an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dula Core Processor 3800+ and 2 GHz and 1 GB or RAM. It is running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1. My internet is through Comcast. The network diagnostics thing has no clue what the problem is. The Network and Sharing Center keeps flipping between Unidentified Network and Multiple Networks. Because we are remodeling the home office, the main computer on the network has been off and unplugged for several days. However, my internet has been working fine throughout the time it has been off. My router appears to be working fine, the only lights not illuminated are Ethernet 2 and USB. The Network and Sharing Center says i have Limited Connectivity to the Unidentified Network. Network discovery is on. I have disabled my firewall. The main issue is that it was completely random. One minute it was working fine, and then it had zero connection. I am really hoping for an answer that will make me hit my head on the desk and scream, out loud, "Omfg why didn't i think of that"

My "Wireless Network Connection" adapter is not connected. It says that it has prepared for safe removal but has not been removed from the computer. I have pretty much unplugged and replugged everything in my computer to no avail. any ideas?
