I had the same problem and found this post http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=4159633&SiteID=17 Saw it was answered and really was not. So what was the solution cause my problem also affects the my connection. I get timed out or page can't be displayed.

Details would be useful:Your ISP? Connection type (cable or DSL)? Do you have a router (yes/no)? If yes, do you have other PCs there that do work properly?Quick thing to try (and, please post the exact output of this):open a command prompt (start > type command in the search box > <enter>), and typeping www.google.com <enter>let it complete.type ping 64.233.161.104 <enter>Right-click anywhere in the command window > select all > hit <enter>.
