Vista not able to sync Offline File
Hi,I was not sure where to post and badly seem some help..I am planning a Vista SP1 rollout and testing the Offline and Folder redirection feature. Here is my setup:Windows 2008 ADWindows 2008 File Server that host the users profile.I am having problem with Vista SP1 not being able to connected back to the Folder Redirection Share and synchonize the files that were created offline.- I have added a GPO for Folder Redirection. Works great. I am able to redirect My Document and Favorites to a network share. Here are the scenario and behavior:If I create a file or folder while connected, It cache the file OK = No Problem here.If I unplug the network cable, (So I am disconnected) create a file in my Document, plug back into the network, Vista NEVER synchronize back to the Share server.I have added the column in Vista : Offline Availability and Offline Status: the file that I created offline shows uplike this :"OFFLINE (NEED TO SYNC)"Thanks for any helpJPAlphamosaik

Hi JP,
Thank you for posting.
With regard to this situation, please try to use Sync Center to see if the file will be synchronized.
When the network is connected, the current status is Online and the synchronization will be automatic. However, when you unplug the network cable, it will change to Offline Mode and the Automatic synchronization is not available, we need to synchronize the files manually
For more information about Offline Files, please also refer to the following document:

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
