Vista and OneCare
So I bought a brand new laptop with Vista 64 installed. I then ripped off Norton and installed OneCare. OneCare is giving me a green light that all is well. Vista Security Center on the other hand is complaining that Firewall is turned off, Virus protection is not found and Spyware and malware detection is turned off. Nothing I can do seems to cause Security Center to recognize that OneCare is installed and enabled. And as an aside Windows Home Server is complaining that the network is at risk due to this same machine being unprotected. So does anyone have an idea how I can get all these Microsoft programs to recognize each other? I would expect this from multi-vendor solutions but this is all Microsoft stuff. I can't tell you how much confidence this gives me.

Hi ODO_ODO, it seems that Windows Live OneCare cannot be recognized by Windows Vista. I suggest you submit a support incident via OneCare support group via the following link: https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=11916 Hope this helps!Sean Zhu - MSFT
