Vista and DUN/Thethered modems
Hello: I'm not sure if Im posting in the correct forum, however I am having major customization problems with vista. I have a Palm Treo 700wx and would like to use it as a tethered modem via DUN. With my Windows XP machine I was capable of installing the device and setting up a dialup connection manually. However, it seems as if Vista does not allow oneself to do anything, if the computer cannot fix it, well neither can you! Does anyone know how I can connect this device as a tethered modem? The device sync is not affected, however when i turn on the Modem Link in the phone, windows vista tries to find drivers but cannot find any drivers online or desktop. What can i do? Format the partition and go back to XP? Thanks, Joey

Hi, I'm having the same exact problem with the Treo 700wx. There seems to be no driver for this phone as a modem for Vista. Has anyone been able to get DUN to work with this phone in Vista?

Sweet!! That driver totally works for some reason mysterious to me! Even Palms website says that there is no way to use USB tethering, and that you could tether using Bluetooth- one problem with that though- Bluetooth is not supported with the 700wx. Whoever modified that driver, should sell it to palm or release it to windows. I thank you so much.
