Hi!... sorry for the rude title, but this is really frustrating... i've been dealing with this since i change my laptop. My old laptop uses XP home and i never have wireless connection problems, never. But with my new Gateway Laptop, it is almost impossible to connect to internet using wireless,... here is a list of my problmens: sometimes it just cant connect, Vista cant solve the problem even when i click on that ridiculus button "diganose the problem"... and when it finish to diagnose it says that maybe i have a poor signal... for christ sake!!.. i sit 3 feet away from the wireless modem!!! sometimes it says it is conected, it says i have access to internet, im able to use Skype....but i cant surf the web, i cant get my email... come on!!!!, is this a joke? i tried everything i found on internet trying to solve the problem but it continues... my old laptop used the same wireless card a Realtek 8185 Extensible 802.11 b/g, exactly the same card!!!... why my old good XP laptop works so well... and this "all powerful" new laptop has so many problems using wireless networking? Anyone has any sugestion?

Hello, Based on your description, I suspect it to be compatibility issue.
