Vista VPN and DHCP option classless routing not work
Hi, I've a question about Vista VPN and DHCP option classless routing entry problem, I can't download specific routing entry from DHCP Server. I've found a similar case: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/itprovistanetworking/thread/bfe43ccb-ec6e-4540-ab17-f76b20b715b8. It's not work...Here is my test result:Setup following DHCP optionsCode: 121 Type: UNIT8LIST Parameter: 24,192,168,4,10,1,1,1Code: 249 Type: UNIT8LIST Parameter: 24,192,168,4,10,1,1,12. In XP, you can see such routing is added in system. Please check below http picture link.http://ben.wu1126.googlepages.com/route_print_winxp.JPG.jpg3. In VIsta, you can see no routing added in system. Please check below http picture link.http://ben.wu1126.googlepages.com/route_print_vista.jpgI've also try to upgrade Vista to SP2 version and add following registration: reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dhcp\Parameters\DhcpGlobalForceBroadcastFlag\0 /f /v 0 /t REG_DWORD /d 0, but the problem insist. Also, I tried, VPN Addressing and Routing http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc779919(WS.10).aspx#w2k3tr_vpn_how_dkma Routes do not work correctly for VPN connections that have classless addresses that share a classful address in Windows Server 2008 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946409 But all no help.Actually, we're D-Link HQ, and we've a lot of customers are complaining about this problem for a long time, if you've any solution, please kindly share with us. If this's a known issue of VIsta/2008, please share related documents also. Can any body tell me how to do that ?Thank you,Benson
