Vista VPN - DNS Servers in wrong order
Hello all, I have a situation in which only one user is having issues with her VPN connection. The VPN connects but gets the DNS addresses listed below: 4.2.2.2 8.8.8.8 10.0.1.6 10.0.1.6 Users who connect normally in the office get those DNS servers in the OPPOSITE priority as 10.0.1.6 is the local DNS server address. So when the user's VPN connects, she can't resolve the server name but can browse shares via IP. I have a static DNS entry in the vpn connection which is why you see the 10.0.1.6 twice above. For some reason it's not using that static address exclusively as it should. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to get it working correctly? Server is SBS 2008 client is Windows Vista. Also, this KB article does not apply: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;311218 Thanks!
