Vista Ultimate security - Cannot logon as built in Administrator account
Hi,I have created two vista users, one a user, one an administrator.I enabled the "Administrator" account, and disabled the user with administrator rights and rebooted to log on as the built in administrator account. I expected there to be a logon for "Administrator", there wasn't.Booting in safe mode does not display the Administrator account either.I can now only use Vista as a "User".The built in admin account is enabled, and the logon that works is a standard user. No other administrators exist. Please, I need help to either display the Administrator logon or hack to enable my disabled account with admin rights. Thanks in advance,Jarrad

If you log in as a Standard User, and go to the User Accounts control panel you should be able to click the Change account type, respond to the elevation prompt using the built in Administrator account details and turn your existing account back into an Administrator.

I've tried changing the standard user account to admin. The UAC prompt displays stating it needs my permission to continue but the OK button is disabled. It won't let me continue.
