Vista Premium as Internet connection sharing host ICS issue
I've been searching for several days on many websites for an issue similar to mine, but I've been unsuccessful. Hopefully someone can guide me in the correct direction. I've almost decided to convert my home network from cable modem to Sprints ev-do reva wireless network. I have it setup with my desktop running Vista home premium with the evdo card. I have my lan card connected to a microsoft MN-700 router configured as an access point. I have 4 devices that need access to the internet in addition to my desktop - a windows 2000 dell laptop, Windows xp pro dell laptop, apple tv, and another device. I can connect to the internet on all devices but I had to setup the IP address manually in all devices. The Vista host won't seem to provide the IP address to any of the devices. The setup on Vista was very simple, and it appears that the default setting on the other windows machines was supposed to be simple, but maybe I'm missing something. Is there anything that I should be doing with the vista premium ICS host to ensure that it will provide ip address to the clients?
