Vista Network Failure??
I just spent 4 hours trying to get my laptop to connect to any neywork again. It has worked fine for over a year and starting Saturday evening, it would no longer connect to my wierless or LAN. I tried my office network, a hot spot....nothing. I read several
forums and tried flushing/resetting /renewing/restoring, just about everything suggested across several sites. I finally got it to work again after my 5th restoral (first 2 did not take, next 2 were not back far enough). Since after the last restore, it worked
perfectly without changing any settings, I have to assume its a Windows Update. I have Vista Home Premium SP2. Is there a pacth or hotfix I can run to be able to start installing updates again? If not, can you tell me the exact update causing the issue so
I can at least just avoid this one? I am currently restored back to 10/15/2010, so it would be between then and now 11-15-2010.
Thanks
Clinton
