Vista Netcomm with 4GB memory error
I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre M55e, with Vista Buisness with 1GB installed. I installed my NetComm Ultra 802.11g PCI adapter and it worked immediately using thr Vista drivers. I was impressed. I have recently removed the single 1GB simm and replaced it with 2 x 2GB simms. Vista starts ok and displays 3 GB available. But the LAN card will net see any networks. I have played for hours, but no luck. In despiration I reinstalled the original 1GB simm and the wireless automatically detected several networks and connected to mine. I contacted Netcomm to find it has no Vista drivers. Any idea what I can do to be able to user the 4GB. Do I just replace the Netcomm with a PCI card that has drivers. ???

Hi, If SP1 has not been installed, I suggest installing Windows Vista SP1 on this machine in order to fix the related known issues. If the issue persists, I would like to confirm the device status of the network adapter when you use 4GB memory. To check it, please follow these steps: 1. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc in the Start Search box and press Enter. 2. Expand Network adapters, right click the network adapter being used, and select Properties.
